If your kids have left the nest, your stairs are getting steeper, your gardener hasn’t shown up and your roof has a possible leak or two, you may want to think about moving to an over-fiftyfive community. It can save you money, heartache and may offer you an opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy new activities.

Having made the case for such a possible move, allow me to suggest Victorian Village in Hatboro. In a one word description, the place is SUPER! It is located next door to the YMCA and its pool and assorted facilities. The Village has its own activity center, a workout room loaded with equipment and a restaurant on premises that will deliver to your door. The complex is near the center of town, close to at least ten restaurants (some are really good) and a mere stone’s throw from the Hatboro Business District and train station. Parking is more than ample and the PA Turnpike is just two traffic lights away.

The units are huge … offering two big bedrooms, two baths, a great kitchen and all have individual balconies. Each apartment has a utility room with a washer and dryer. Everybody gets a storage unit. Maintenance at the complex is incredible! If you’re at all interested, take a peek now as I hear they already have a short, but growing, waiting list. You’ll meet a lot of nice people.
