The town of Hatboro is located in southeastern Pennsylvania, 25 miles north of central Philadelphia. Hatboro dates back to the early 1700s when John Dawson, a hatter from England settled in the small village. Hatboro played a role in the Revolutionary War; it is said that hats were made for soldiers here. Also, the Battle of Crooked Billet occurred in the Hatboro area and a monument was erected in its honor.
Hatboro is a wonderful “small town” with a strong sense of community. The population is just 7,500 within a 1.2 square mile area. The community is committed to preserving the vitality of the Main Street, with its historic buildings, busy business and shopping districts. Feel free to stop in!
